His friend told him, basketball is a lot like a 'relationship'. The rule of the game is simple, either score or rebound. There's no way of achieving both, as it require a lot of effort and skill to score or to catch a rebound, therefore no matter how hard you try, you can only be good at one of it.There's no room for in-between, you are either good at girls or you are just the rebound for the girl. Although, i very much want to be a scorer, but i have to admit i am categorize in the rebound group. it's definitely not wise and not good to be in that category i guess. Think about the amount of glory the scorer earns when he put the ball through the net. On the other hand, he, who catches the rebound, nobody will remember or recognize that effort.
Don't you think it's astounding that the fundamental of basketball is intertwine with the current love affair in this era? The one who scored, is the poster boy who'll claims full credit whereas the one who catches the rebound will always remain as the un-noticeable shadow. The forever love-hate affair of the scorer and the rebounder,so between them, which category are you in?
